Feb 2022

Up until late 2023, the island was the primire nest site for multiple families Overtime the tree lost its structural integretiy and the herons migrated.

Development: Island View

Late Feb, Early March 2022

Juviniles become annoying, nest turn into warzones.

Dispersal

Dispersal: Northern Edge

Late March 2022

At this stage fledglings herons become bolder and more independent. They now traverse the nesting tree freely and assult adjacent nests.

Fledgling herons now routinely leave the nest and fish for themselves.
